Ravenscroft 275 using with daw10/29/2023 ![]() Played around with the velocity editor but it doesnt work for me. It feels like there are only 2 dynamic layers: soft and ultra hard. Then a single login to the PA account through the plugin will authorize all the PA plugins you just installed. Yesterday I bought the Ravenscroft 275 software, loaded it down for 6 hours, ilokked it and: BORING I used to play the Ivory ACD, which I love so much - and thought a nice little addition to it would be fun. After installing you close the installer, start your DAW and load up a plugin. From within you can install all your PA plugins and even those you don't have for a demo license. You download an installer, run it and leave it in your temp directory or whatever. I just wish I had a USB hub for the dongles that was built like a fireproof safe or something.Īfter they updated it and their plugins don't cause issues with Steinberg DAWs any more, my favorite one is Plugin Alliance's scheme. The, I dunno, hundred maximun bucks you pay for an iLok, eLicenser (for Steinberg products and some otters) and a USB stick is absolutely nothing for a business of enterpreneur. Some people dislike these, having to pay for them etc, but most of plugin makers' money comes from professionals, I'd think, and so the copy protection scheme matches that. I don't mind iLok or eLicenser, and nowadays Waves also allows you to make your own USB dongle using a regular USB stick. Softube used to have this annoying Gobbler thing, I dislike every copy protection scheme which requires you to have an additional application on. I've had some small troubles, like changing my hardware ID so Waves thought it was a different computer, and some plugins every now and then thinking I'm on a new computer.
